UK Government Defence Organisations

Main entrance to UK MoD web site. A wealth of information relating to the various MoD departments, projects, equipment, and policies. Contains links to the homepages for the three services.
Dstl - the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, is the centre of scientific excellence for the UK Ministry of Defence, housing one of the largest groups of scientists and engineers in public service in the country. The part of the former Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA) that was retained by MoD.
DECS (Defence Electronic Commerce Service) The principal electronic trading portal with the UK MoD.
UK Defence Standardisation DStan. Access to unclassified UK defence standards on line and the 'Standards in Defence Magazine' (SID). www.dstan.mod.uk

Defence Organisations

A|D|S is the trade body advancing UK AeroSpace, Defence and Security industries with Farnborough International Limited as a wholly-owned subsidiary. A|D|S also encompasses the British Aviation Group (BAG). It is formed from the merger of the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) and the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC).
